Wood Grain in Korean Heritage Furniture

Design Profile

The Rice case(named "Dwiju") was used to contain rice or kinds of grains. It shall be sturdy boxes with four straight legs and a top lid that can be lifted up when not locked. Rice case were kept in the kitchen or the living room. Long legs protect the grains from humidity and vermin. The material of panel and the finish are strong to protect humidity ad vermin.
